You probably know that you can earn Nectar points for shopping at Sainsbury’s and many online stores. However, there are some less well known ways to earn extra points.
The Nectar.com site has many offers available. You may get extra points when shopping, or you may get more for your points when spending them. Once registered, the My Nectar page shows the offers available. Purchasing offers can be loaded to your card and the points will be added to your Nectar account when the appropriate purchase is made. As you continue to use your card, more offers will be based on your previous purchases. These offers are not just for Sainsbury’s. There are often deals for ebay, Cafe Nero and many other retailers.
Nectar Canvass is a market research panel where you get paid in Nectar points for answering short surveys. They will send you email invitations to surveys, or you can visit the Nectar Canvass website and take a survey whenever they are available. Once you have qualified for a survey, and completed it, you will be paid the Nectar points that were advertised at the introduction to the survey. Nectar Canvass says they will be credited to your Nectar account within 28 days. In my experience they’re usually added in 1-2 days. Even if the quota for the survey is full or you get screened out, you will still earn 2 Nectar points. If you’re interested in other paying survey sites, see our Survey Comparison List.
e-rewards is also a survey site. Here you collect opinion points for each survey you complete. Once you have earned enough points, they can be exchanged for Nectar points. The higher value exchanges are better value so it is worth waiting to exchange your points if possible. You will earn points even if you don’t qualify for a survey. Registration for e-rewards is by invitation only
